Programmes are designed to deliver cognate theory with best practice case studies to enhance the knowledge and competence of our trainees.

The protection of the environment is now an integral part of the fabric of society and has become a concern in every aspect of how we advance, develop and interact with the environment. Professions that previously had little or only peripheral involvement in environmental issues such as planners, solicitors, architects, mechanical and structural engineers are now required to interact with environmental scientists and civil engineers in order for their work to meet legal and regulatory requirements that did not exist a decade ago. This is, therefore, a multidisciplinary training programme. It covers a wide spectrum of topics that relate to sustainability, the knowledge and skills required to address environment and sustainability issues across a broad range of activities. It also delivers new knowledge in the field of sustainable technologies and environmental impacts. The training course content has been designed taking on board the training and information needs of all sectors.
